A good friend of mine just got a call from Delta for an interview. He hasn't flown in over 2 years. His record is immaculate: IP in the Viper in 1 year, DFC in OIF Shock and Awe, and graduated fighter squadron commander (and letter of recommendation from me, I think that's what did it ).

Not sure if it was his outstanding credentials or a change in policy that initiated the interview, but definitely a step in the right direction. BTW, not only did he get the email invite but he's not even available until November.
