If I were starting right now and had a choice, I'd definitely choose anything else over ER (ER may not even be a choice anyway). Just one person's opinion...
It is however quite possible to see a bunch of new hires going to the ER next Spring for the summer schedule. 30% is within the norm for summer to winter job loss on the ER. It all depends on marketing and their block hour program.
