You don't have to be military....just sim instructor/ground school instructor/chief pilot/assistant chief pilot preferably all of the above. And whatever time you have left make sure you spend it volunteering. We seek only well-rounded individuals. Anything but a plane-vanilla Part-121 airline pilot.
