I don't know if you're a New York pilot, but I think they represented us faithfully. I have no sacred relics to protect here, but these guys you're throwing under the bus aren't running. If someone is better than someone else for the Delta pilots, they should win. I see you're already working on your campaign. I respectfully submit being a sore winner isn't a great starting point.
What council are you running in?
Has nothing to do with a campaign but I understand why a guy like you might think that. I don't mind flying. If I run I will sign a manifesto that will give 100% transparency if/when I spend dues dollars and if I ever were to take FPL I would note exactly how/why. The books will be open.
What would you like me to do, create a false narrative about what went down with this TA to let guys off the hook? I don't think so. The past ten years ALPA has done everything in their power to remove accountability (think hidden survey results, think barriers to entry regarding DALPA finances and how dues money is spent, think shutting down the DALPA message board...which incidentally blew up in their face when venues were created that they could not control). People need to be held accountable and results need to be measured. Without that there is really no reason to have a union.
