AWAC was a great place to be 10 years ago. With all the turmoil in the industry, it was a beacon of stability due to their iron clad agreement with US Airways.

However, that has come to a pass now.

Do yourself a favor and go to Piedmont. Seriously. I honestly see nothing to gain by going to AWAC over Piedmont at this point.

AWAC hired a bunch of guys about 10 years ago. Guys that are still there prior to that (ie the 10+ crowd) most likely aren't (or can't) move on. Of the guys hired 10 years ago, roughly 1/3 have moved on telling me a good portion also aren't going to jump ship. It's basically the next ASA, XJT, SKYW, etc. Top heavy, little movement (for CA's, lots of junior FO's leaving) etc.

That being said, you could luck out. But even if everything goes your way at AWAC, you'd still be in a worse position because you don't have that guaranteed job waiting for you.
