Allegiant and Frontier maybe. But the vast majority of quality majors hire mostly Captains, and more often than not line check guys. When was the last time an FO was a check airman? It doesn't happen.

No matter the company or airplane you're operating, what sets people apart is PIC and LCA credentials.

Now, has Delta/UAL/AA hired AWAC FO's? Maybe one that I know of? Outside of that it's been left seaters. Just the way it is.
