They can't pull the bonus out of the contract any easier than they can arbitrarily start paying everyone $1.00 an hour instead of the current pay rates.

The only way to change the contract and lose the bonus is to sign another Letter of Agreement that the union thinks is better or go back into bankruptcy and vote to concede the bonus or a judge takes it away.
