If there was an actual list of all air returns and gate returns in the last five years it would be more than anyone outside of Allegiant could imagine.
That list is shorter than what I can come up with off the top of my head.
Being that one engine issue and air return that I've had personally isn't even listed should tell you that the list just scratches the surface.
