For captain upgrade, I'm told Mesa will waive, to an extent, the 2500 TT rule in the CBA for circumstances such as military time, etc. The only applicable thing I could find was "The provisions of E.1. above may be waived at the discretion of the Company..." Part 121 makes no mention of a 2500 TT rule. My circumstances would be 1000 hours military and 1000 hours at Mesa. Anyone have knowledge on this?
E-mail A-I and say you have 1,000 hours military time and 1,000 with the company, and that you'd like to upgrade. Sounds like the precise type of situation they'd waive.
