None of my business as an outsider but did find this thread interesting.....To MD11 the former Comair pilot- I feel for you man but no one in this world gives a sh!t about Comair...They were just a regional feed carrier and nothing more...

To the Delta Pilots....

I think you guys did a very good job trying to bring the company to its knees..Going forward, I hope you guys get atleast 2004 rates adjusted for inflation...Even WITH those inflation adjusted rates you are still behind the 2004 contract since there used to be a real pension before...If you don't bring top pay to $400 bucks an hour now with record profits, then you will certainly never see those rates in the future...Just remember, during these times the executives at Delta are raking in millions per year so for a senior captain to be making in the range of $360,000- $400,000 annually is really chum change in the big picture...U.S Airline Pilots should be the wealthiest pilots in the World, especially if you are flying for the Deltas,etc...Even if you guys get $400 bucks an hour as top pay, that will only put you in parity with pilots at the ME3 airlines who fly as check airmen on planes such as 777, A330, etc...since the ME3 salary is tax free unless your American....I would love to see pilots in America as part of the elite group as they should be and not viewed as bus drivers as they currently are viewed as...also, starting first year FO pay should be around $155,000 annually not a measly 70 bucks an hour...It takes a lot to become a Major Airline Pilot anywhere in the World so the bare minimum salary should respect that....Anyhow, good luck in your pursuits and do not settle for less...Literally, make them go bankrupt if they don't play fairly in negotiations..There are plenty of high paying jobs for everyone at the ME3..Good luck once again...
