I only wish I could fly the B-787 to compare it to the B-777, but even if I was young enough, the Band Of Bozos at UAL don't appear to be interested enough in the airline's future to order any of them. Except to line their own pockets, that is.
How loud is the wind noise in the cockpit? I flew the 727 and have jumped a lot on 737s and old whales. All of them, pretty loud. I was amazed how quiet the md11 was the first time I stepped into it.
