I got the impression that MD believes Social Media miss-information killed the TA. All the Social Media outlets are being read by many people. In my opinion, Social Media will now forever play a major roll, one way or the other, in any future deal.
I don't think social media killed the TA, I think the TA killed the TA.
I think what is frustrating to MD and others about social media is that it made it impossible to hide the unsavory aspects of the TA, and MEC, from scrutiny.
