I think you're right, it will probably pass this time. My vote will be no, as it doesn't hit the minimum marks I need that show SkyWest even cares.
It seems that the company wants this real bad and to move on to get further contracts and fresh meat in the front door, those words in essence being told to sim instructors at a private dinner with MT and TG.
So, it comes as no big surprise that we are completely throwing away a chance to capitalize on this opportunity for a better TA.
What would have been ideal, would have been for SAPA to stop the process from moving forward. Sadly the majority of the reps, the entire executive board, and the company are going to vigorously sell this pile of, somewhat sweetened, dog droppings. The chief pilots and the sim instructors are getting a list of talking points so they can help push this package.
Why? Why does the company want this so bad? Why can't we use this opportunity to get more?
