Yeah, take the job if it's the only offer you have at the time.

If the class date is before you find out about your other opportunities, you may be able to VERY CAREFULLY defer the class date. You really have to feel out the recruiter on this and come up with a good white lie (sister's wedding maybe, or a committment to finish a project at your current job). Ask for a later class date, but don't say that you MUST have a later date...they may just tell you "OK, have a nice life, bye!"
