The SKYW pilots are like the frog in a pot of water on the stove, they just increase the heat slowly and we slowly come to a boil. 3 union drives later, if you compare where we are now vs year 2000, we have given massive pay cuts and work rule concessions. They know that the pilots are toothless Pomeranian kicking dogs, very little bark and even less bite.
Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. Ask a senior guy, when you aren't resenting him for sitting in your "seat" and impeding your career advancement. When you finally get the nerve up to vote in a union, they will have milked every last drop out of the existing agreement and stonewall you like the good reverend is doing at republic. See how well that is working for them? Skywest is bound and determined to make SKYW a cheap place to work, now no one wants to work there anymore....
