It's basically there if you have the time. Nobody hired in the past 10 months flew more than a couple months as an FO. Many didn't get consolidation of knowledge. A few never flew the line as FOs before starting upgrade. 10k to start as an FO, upgrade within months... You gotta pull the trigger at some point...
I wonder how long that will continue. I'd be interested to see a seniority list to guesstimate just how many FO's already on property for a year or two will be hitting that mark and pushing those qualified immediately back from upgrading.
Coming to Compass I would take a 50% pay cut, but if I knew the PIC slot was only a few months away I would apply right now.
