You must be referring to AAPSIC.
Anyhow, your most junior pilot has 4500 pilots under him (possibly more). Since there is only about 1000 pilots on furlough at AA, how the other 3500 get flushed below that most junior reserve in the Wests proposal is a byproduct of the Nicolau rationalization and the subsequent longevity gutting of the other groups pilots. The Nic just allows too much damage to junior LAA if allowed to be implemented as per the Wests proposal without some form of mitigation.
