Personally I think the 175 is better. The trips seem to be higher credit and once off first year pay the hourly rate is higher than the 200 which is what you will most likely be flying as a junior FO unless you get IAH. A big factor is where you want to be based, the 175 has fewer options than CRJ with ORD being the most likely place but other bases aren't unattainable.
Another factor is should you still be here for upgrade, the 175 seems to be the future for this company/industry, it is a lot easier to upgrade on a aircraft you've flown before. The ERJ is slightly junior to the CRJ (a month or two) at the moment, subject to change of course.
