The OP needs to read this post, which I think it is spot on.
Also: do you want more time at home? Go to a major, move in base, and bid reserve. At that point, if the SEL is as you describe it, you could keep both jobs and still have time to study.
But don't confuse a day you won't fly with a day off. Plus the 12% yearly pay raise can't be perpetual.
