No it's not that because you can still jumpseat on delta. The main reason for CRJ for senior people staying on CRJ is most captains don't want to risk another training event before moving on, the ones that transition as captains are usually staying long term. FO staying on CRJ mainly because they don't want to upgrade and transition at the same time.
