Passed the written exam and don't have much else to add in regards to gouge. Its pretty accurate and the method that worked best for me was using my trusty old school Gleim ATP question book. For reference i used ACE The Tech Pilot Interview (Barstow) and JAA professional Pilot Studies (Croucher) for altimetry/aerodynamics, and internal docs at my company in regards to performance, NAT tracks, etc.
