Thumbs down Obap warnings!

This is merely a warning for people considering OBAP career fair.

The website is VERY CONFUSING. It will easily take your money and you WILL NOT get what you paid for.

I, wanting to go to OBAP, went on their site. You are greeted with a huge 'REGISTER HERE' on the main screen. I clicked on that. Having never been to OBAP and having not seen any warnings.. I purchased the day pass for the day I wanted to be at the fair. 250$!!!.

I came to find later that you first need to buy a membership (50$) before being able to see the cheaper 'ala carte' career fair only option (155$).

No refunds apparently. Great...

I sucked it up and came to terms that I had purchased the expensive version of the career fair and that the extra 100$ is going to a good purpose. A lady emailed me back saying 'You will have acess to the convention and career fair for all three days with the 'day pass' I had purchased.

Well... it wasn't over! I had clicked the 'register for the career fair' button. It had me log in using my membership info. It then led me through the portion of the site for purchasing the day passes. I already had a day pass so I thought everything was good to go...

WRONG.

I now have a day pass $250... membership to OBAP $50.... and no access to the career fair. Registration is full. My registration did not complete even though I have clicked the register button AND logged in.

I have called and emailed OBAP about their confusing site and they have sent me several 'that's just too bad, kid' emails in response. No.. .seriously.. thats what they told me. Word for word.

Wonderful, wonderful company/charity.

NOT!!

The same thing happened to my other friend so I know there are other now too. Just look at their website today... NOW there are huge red warnings. Bit late dont you think??

THANKS OBAP

ENJOY MY $300 - You stole it!
