They DO NOT currently have
the ability to receive PDC, ATIS, or IN RANGE (thus the need to call for a gate, clearance and listen to the ridiculously long ATIS). Try getting a clearance in IAD sometime, numerous airlines are calling nonstop. I don't know if you work for envoy. If so, then you have everything in your little Universal FMS magic box. It is absolutely crazy that other regional airlines do not have the wonderful features envoy has. Sorry to ruin you conspiracy theory against the Devil's airline. Oh and by the way, this is not new to DFW.
Ok....let's take a little look back at the history of the illustrious "B" terminal in DFW. A little over two years should do it...around Valentines day 2013. A little company called Expressjet moved 11 CRJ 200s into the Eagle's nest, so to say. Maintenance was a huge issues initially, I believe they did not even have a spare aircraft in the beginning. They had the same issues that Mesa is facing. There were tons of delayed or cancelled flights. Everyone complained about how horrible the operation was, even the outstations. Envoy was going to get that flying back....over two years later, it looks like they righted their ship. Oh well, keep letting Mesa get under your skin. Try to get some sleep.
Easy there, Captain happy.
