Mesa is growing too fast for the amount of pilots out there. Look at RAH imploding now after several RFP awards, they where growing slowly compared to Mesa.

It's just a matter of time. Once the fast upgrade illusion is gone at Mesa, it will happen the same its happening to RAH. PSA is in another though spot with a huge training bubble, can't keep up with the growing.
They did not award you Mesa flying, Mesa REQUESTED a change to our schedule so our airplanes could have a more realistic schedule with more touch time with maintenance, and to allow us to have additional spares in DFW. This required a temporary reduction in our flying. We already have two of our seven brand new CRJ900's in Dallas flying. Another couple of months we will have even more flying than before in Dallas, with additional spare airplanes.
In the US Airways system, we had in-range with Acars, only thing we never had was ATIS and PDC over ACARS. Puzzles me why during this merger, they dumped the way Airways did things, and went with a more antiquated system that American uses? Well, I guess the larger pilot group always wins out...
