Envoy has been doing flying in MIA for Republic for flying they cannot staff after our base was shut down. Our NYC base is in closing as well. Our upgrade stands at 7 years...soon to be 8. 12 year guys are on reserve. All DFW trips are 4 days(25 year CA doing a 4 day trip?) with most lines being less than guarantee. We've had 2 concessionary contracts, they've given our planes away and stripped us of our name. Mesa's performance in DFW is abysmal and is becoming legendary. You made a point about overall airline performance and I made a counter point about a specific base and Mesa's failures there. Go back and read my post and stop being antagonistic.
Doesn't it seem reasonable that they watered down the lines if they are heavy on pilots. Seems like the other option would be to consolidate the lines and layoff the excess pilots. I am sure the Envoy mgmt is doing the best they can with what they have to work with. I doubt they have control over how many overall block hours they get.
At the expense of sounding harsh, is a senior Envoy captain that's about to flow upset he got a 72 hour line instead of 92 so the guy at the bottom could keep his job?
