I commuted to Newark my first few years here and there were times I'd spend a 5 day stretch just wasting time in the crash pad. I couldn't go home because I commuted by air.

Thanks jumppilot. I spoke with another UAL guy that did the ORF-EWR commute and switched to ORF-DC. He said the same thing. He ran through how he sat reserve, both long and short.

After talking with him, it was clear that DC was the better choice.
