Also, I am guessing the loads will have to be regulated. I am not sure how a fully loaded -900ER will take off out of Kahului/Maui with a 6995' runway and fly for 5.5 hours to the west coast with step climbs along the way. I guess we will start with HNL and go from there.[/QUOTE]



From what I heard the 737s will be replacing the 757s on some but not all of the Hawaii routes. So I would expect to see the 737s starting out with mostly HNL and any other of the longer runway airports - Kona perhaps?
