Maybe your noise issue was really serious, but sometimes I can't sleep just because, and sometimes hotels are noisy. Last night, the fire door slammed twice and woke me up. That's life. I feel like there are a lot of pilots and FAs out there who will call CT at the slightest inconvenience when many times it's just the nature of doing a sometimes stressful job.
That like our LAX hotel, it's just noisy with people coming and going at all hours of the day and night, but that's where we stay and it is what it is. I have no problem filling out complaints about the hotels though. My particular issue was broken equipment that was making an irritating noise, which had it been functioning correctly I would have been just fine.
