My problem with your stance here is that how often does the FAA need to be forced into doing the best / right thing? Often! So, I don't get the beef with Congress (who are elected, by the way) making decisions to direct the FAA (unelected, appointed bureaucrats who are often against things that are good for aviation) to do something.
Can you explain for my simple mind?
