There are a couple valid reasons. Most people just something that looks like "a real jet". I wanted to get hired for the CRJ because they are Houston based. However I received the 145 instead. It was worth the shot though.
So you got the call for CHQ and took it. When were you assigned the airplane type? We didn't have the CRJs when I started so it wasn't an issue, but I assume you are stuck now as far as getting the base you wanted due to being locked to the 145. That's a bummer. My point is if ADIZ takes a CHQ class he could get the CRJ and be stuck in HOU (where you wanted to be) and commuting back to DC. Is that accurate?
