Per year starting 2018. So from now until the end of 2018, about 700 pilots from 9E will be at Delta. That is about half of the airline. When you add in other pilots leaving to UA, AA, SWA, AK, FedEx, etc. there is going to be some fast movement. Well as long as we can get guys coming in at the bottom.
Except that the program will almost certainly be exhausted (the last pilot will have been interviewed probably by the end of spring if not sooner.) Under the current program, there will be enough with job offers to keep leaving through next year, and possibly a small amount in 2017. Delta has not hired at nearly enough of a percentage of SSP candidates to even talk about filling the quotas for 2017 or beyond. If they took almost everyone as was advertised sure, but since the success rate has been about 55%.... The program is almost finished with far less leaving than we were led to believe would go.
