Are you saying that out of the 117 eligible bidders in LAX in August that 55 will be leaving from there?
50-60 new bidders will be added to LAX bid in September and August after the September and October upgrade awarded pilots are done with training.
There are only around 12 flow pilots left in LAX that will be leaving the LAX base by the end of September and all of their replacements have already been awarded. Those pilots are in upgrade training class in July through September.
When thinking about how many upgrades and new hires need to be awarded, you have to stop looking at the flows. In terms of the current November bid, they have no affect anymore. The October bid took care of awarding their replacements. In crew planning's eyes, they are all gone and their replacements have already been awarded. The current bid is for November and it only accounts for AA planes, attrition, and any shortage they put themselves in.
