I'm just venting here and I know nothing will change here at Alaskan's world. We live in a broken world and we too are all broken people. But you ever think about this? AS owns approximately 4% ASM of all U.S. airlines. We have just shy of 1,700 pilots. It's a tiny weeny airline, nevertheless a very profitable potent airline, mainly due to pure luck. Proportionately speaking, there are quite a few spiteful middle and upper managers who literally despise pilots. They see pilots as a liability. They put on a fake smile and maybe cordial on the outside but we all know that what matters is the heart & soul. When I was a new hire, a 30+ year senior captain said the same thing to me and I thought that he was going senile. Judge for yourself.
