1) It was about income, NOT experience.

Although YES, most of the airlines hire more qualified people and the majority of newhires at (insert airline here without a TPIC (requirement) have TPIC, there's still the smattering of those without it.

2) For those lucky ones that do get in without TPIC or any other extensive qualifications, they STILL reap the financial rewards as those that DID have it.

You've been in this civilian pilot game long enough now to know its ALL about seniority, NOT flight experience that determines your pay/QOL after being hired.
Yes, seniority is everything in the civilian game. But, a US Military pilot leaving service after 10 years (actually closer to
12 years, as the commitment is for 10 years, going to 12 I believe) isn't making anywhere near $160K.
