Hey guys/gals,
I'm in the middle of applying for the Blue. Unfortunately I failed my private pilot check ride in 2006. In order to disclose this, JB wants documentation. I have none. Does the FAA keep records like this, and will they give me access to them?

The documentation they want is a quick write up of the event. Just include dates, why you failed, and how you learned from your mistake. The actual FAA records will be sent for with your background check.
