You are right, US Airways didn't touch any WO'ed people back in the day. It was the kiss of death back then to work at a Wo'ed and get hired at Airways. Piedmont is now sending 15 over the next 3 months which is very nice.
Not really true. There are a few ex-PDT and PSA guys here. But they are few and far between. The reason they are here now is because they HAVE to be "hired". AWAC as a company hires a lot of great people, and Airways reconized it. Kudos to them. It's unfortunate the door is shut on the quality applicants now. The difference in those hired off the street vs the flows is eye opening. Especially on the PSA side. PDT guys for the most part are pretty good.
That being said the Eagle guys are class acts. Glad they are finally coming over.
