Hey buddy,

Just transitioned to the ERJ from the CRJ. While the ERJ kicks ass and the trips are better, I highly recommend you take the CRJ. The ERJ list in ORD has grown quite long and I suspect you could be reserve for quite some time unless we find new flying on it here.

That said, I said this exact same thing a year ago when I got hired and took the CRJ for better QOL and seniority. Well guess what, all the ERJ guys and gals in my class have all been enjoying much better seniority than I have. The move is taking me from 66% in base to 45%. So really who knows. If your patient and don't mind taking a risk ERJ could be a really good gig, especially if we get more flying.:.
