If I had to do it all over again I would have majored in Avs Administration rather than Flight Science (Pilot Program). And I would have done just as you are doing, hit up that FBO! You'll meet more people their that have planes and can't fly them, or just want you to fly 'em. You'll get the same education on the cheap! And the cirrus is a gravy plane, too bad when all those kids get to their first job they won't have an instrument scan, let alone know how to read the dials.
Have fun at your FBO and buy your self something nice with all the money you save!
