I'm pretty sure you can't change your application after hitting the submit button (until the next window opens that is). But, like a previous poster mentioned, you can add/modify documents (i.e. including your recommendations) in the profile section.

After just going through the application/interview process my sense was the recommendations weren't looked at until after the interview, when the pilot hiring committee met and made a final hiring determination. When I interviewed they had me bring three signed LORs. Between the time I initially applied and interviewed, my letters were significantly updated/modified. So I would just update them in the profile section and not worry about it. BUT – I’m a new guy here so I could be wrong -- experienced folks please correct me as required…..
