As far as being paid what you are worth, that can't happen because pilots do not believe that. Most don't think for a second they could be stuck where they are at.
With the large number of mandatory retirements at the majors coming soon, every regional pilot that want to go to mainline will have the chance to go, as the majors will be begging for pilots before you know it.
