Bases open and close all the time. If you get Columbus don't plan on being there (or anywhere) for long. Republic is on fire and management is throwing buckets of gasoline on it trying to put it out. If you actually go there you will be lookin for another job in a year or two.

There is another regional with a junior base an hour drive from Columbus. You might want to do some more research before going to Republic. Just look at the stock over the last 2 months.
