Guys who can't hold a base and drop their entire month in NYC then fill up with out of base WS's in the base they wish. Most of the time an out of base WS saves the company a GS and takes a GS away from a pilot who can is in that base.
I know it is allowed by the contract, but it drives me bananas when GS's are going out and some dude out of base WS's a trip saving them a GS.
Don't forget that you can only drop your entire line if your category is staffed sufficiently so that reserves available exceed required for all the days of the trips you are flying. Depending on the category it might be easy or impossible.
