Is Delta growing that much more? Anyone care to guess when AA will begin training a 100/month? Percentage based LUS is retiring more than any of the Legacy carriers.
Apples and hammers.... AA still has a lot ahead of it in this merger. We're not even one airline yet, operationally at least. October will be the single reservation system, PBS is on the way, and SLI is coming hopefully this century. All those factors will result in reduced pilot jobs. The fact that we're still flowing and hiring (albeit slowly), is a very positive sign with what is still ahead. Once all the above stuff is over, you'll see balls to the wall hiring that you see at Delta, and then some...
