Your perspective is about teaching someone with a brain rather than someone that may not be as gifted. The argument is to keep the students out of the fast track because of the implications for the student, not the CFI. Anyone would prefer to train someone that has motivation and working neurons. So your suggestion for these folks to go to these high priced programs is based on the fact that you, the CFI, prefer to make your life easier, not because it benefits the students in the long run.
