Thanks! It is nice to have choices. Like everyone says though, go with the one that puts me in training first and then assess when the other calls. UAL told me to expect a 3 Nov start date, that is why I've been trying so hard to get SA on when AA might call.
I thought with two classes a month I would be called by October for sure but who knows. Since Jan i have made the prediction three times that I'd be in training and all three times I was wrong. Oh well there are worse things, at least I have a CJO with options.
In the end they are both great and respectable companies. A career with either will be very good and I'm very fortunate to have that opportunity.
