Talked to a guy today who interviewed at AA on Oct 2, 2014. Still no class date and has not heard a word from the company in months. Luckily for him, he's been hired and a line holder on the 75 for Delta for the entire summer. I can only imagine how many that were once in the AA pool have left to go elsewhere. I speculate several at this point can't wait to get the call for an American class date just to tell them they've been working somewhere else for going on a year. That's good news for me as I don't have any job offers from anyone else, so I'll happily take their class dates!
What message is conveyed to prospective employees who have begun a company's selection process almost a year ago and left them hanging incommunicado for months ?
The message I get is that such a company doesn't really have its act together.
