But in a nutshell, no. Your pay conversion date is listed on the training letter and has no relationship to when you finish sims or OE. It will start at the beginning of a month.
I flew with captain once who did nearly all of their OE on the 88 while still being paid at wb FO rates.
Bottom line the Alpa gouge tells you what you need to know to maximize your benefit and use of shadow bidding etc.
