Would you call professional standards in that case and complain about the flaps 25 vs. 30 thing with him? How far do you think that would go? For you to refuse to fly any legs over this is ridiculous.

I did a flaps 25 vs. 30 landing the other day. If the Captain had requested 30, I would have done that. Dave's explanation is good enough for me since he is doing what he feels is the safest thing to do. There is no argument to the contrary that what he is doing is less safe. He is the Captain. Not you.
