Coming to F9 from flying contract with the military, I can attest the biggest captain ego, lies at Frontier, specially the bunch that sat right seat for 1 day back in the 90s. May I ask if you are CA typed / Left seat assigned / bid / Awarded a Left seat line, Pay, & schedule?

Just cause every CA out there don't let you taxi out,do Their flows, calls, etc, ect; doesn't mean they got EGO. It means they are Following the FOM, and performing their duties according to company & FAA policy.
Why don't you ask to do that the next time you fly with a Check Airman?
I'm sure they will hook you up.
