What doesn't make sense in my meager pilot brain is they don't advertise any more requirements than 1500TTL and an ATP to fly the CRJ2. You do not need turboprop experience to fly the 200. I still think this is a little odd. Add in the fact that ALPA suggested numerous time that the company came to them rather abruptly looking for a deal in the weeks leading up to the TA and it's justifiable to think something is in the works.
